PLANTING SYSTEM / URN Our planting system is made of biodegradable paper material with a three-tier structure wherein the Ash goes at the bottom, and then the Ash-neutralizer disc is placed on top of it followed by a Layer of soil. This is to reduce the pH level of ash which can kill a plant. We also have Geo-tag to be tagged next to the plantation for identification and location portrayal.

Pramodh Chandrashekar a 25 year old is first generation social entrepreneur in his family. Entrepreneurship was his passion, he always wanted to bring a change but he was figuring it out! Fortunately or unfortunately his grandma passed away in 2018. He was shattered and was broken by this. But this paved his entrepreneurial journey wherein “death was the beginning of his journey to rethink life”. He wanted to prove that even death can be turned into a beautiful green form! He thought of giving a green form of a tree to all the lost memories...
Yes! In 2018 he started a social enterprise LAST RIPPLE to rethink life and change the negative taboo about death in the society.
Is India’s first initiative to create a biodegradable planting system which turns your beloved into living memory trees! And envision a different approach to the way we think about death. Cremated Ashes will be held in our patent-pending planting system which turns into a living memory. Then it will then be buried as a seed in the earth. A tree, chosen in life by the deceased, will be planted on top of it and serve as a memorial for the departed and as a legacy for posterity and the future of our planet. Family and friends will continue to care for the tree as it grows. Cemeteries will acquire a new look and, instead of the cold grey landscape we see today, they will grow into vibrant woodlands, memory forests. The goal is complete decomposition of the body and its natural return to the soil. Death is inevitable so why not make it a happy beginning again by living trees. The biological life cycle and its transformations are the same for every living being. It is time for us to realize our integrated part in nature. Only a tree, a symbol of the connection between the sky and the earth, will mark the resting place of our beloved.
